What gives you joy and meaning?
Whether you’re entering a transition in life or wanting to initiate change in how you work or live, individual coaching can provide you with clarity about your goals and a source of support as you craft your next chapter.
What used to challenge and excite you at work may not give you the same sense of purpose today. Leadership coaching supports you in making big or small shifts to discover what is most meaningful to your work and how you show up.
Whether you are a new or seasoned coach, we all benefit from supervision, where we get to reflect on ourselves and our work with clients in ways that grow and develop us. Both group and individual coaching are available.
As a member of the Leadership Team at the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara, Tom is experienced at delivering high-quality and customizable transition and change programs for groups of individuals and teams.

As we move through different stages of life, our path may change as new challenges and opportunities for transformation emerge. what is it you want to do with
your one wild and precious life?
A lifelong interest in psychology and human development has shaped my personal journey into coaching. In 2001, I graduated from the Hudson Institute's Coach Certification program, and have been coaching individuals in transition as well as executive leaders since then. For the past sixteen years, I have facilitated the Hudson Institute's LifeForward program, a four-day experiential program for individuals seeking to make mindful change in their lives. For the past nine years, I have been on the faculty of the Hudson Institute's Coach Certification Program, an eight-month certification program for individual and organizational coaching. I also facilitate Hudson Institute's Corporate programs, with a focus on helping individuals nearing retirement to chart a new course when the need to make a living gives way to a desire to live a life more aligned with meaning, purpose and core values. I am certified as a coaching supervisor and lead supervision groups for new and seasoned coaches. I am certified by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach.
In 2008, I retired as a partner from a large commercial law firm, Irell & Manella, where my practice was focused on white-collar criminal defense. I received my BA degree from Brown University and my JD degree from NYU School of Law.
